Venus

The Venus was designed for one handed users that have a hard time focusing on nutrition because of issues they face in the kitchen. It was designed for Tough Mudder athlete Grant Polson. Grant expressed dish washing as one of his larger concerns in the kitchen. Although this project focused on his specific need, we realized it had a greater application. There is a whole community of one handed users adapting to our two handed world. This could be those temporarily impaired, such as a broken arm, it could be those born with a disability, or elderly that lack mobility. The Venus is designed to create the basic need of nutrition more accessible. The Venus acts as another hand by leveraging, stabilizing, and gripping a variety of dish ware for one handed cleaning.
